Terms of Service

By accessing TirageAuSort.io (the "Service"), you agree without reservation to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.

These Terms may be updated at any time (see section 9). Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new version.

TirageAuSort.io provides free interactive tools for random draws and chance games (coin flip, dice, fortune wheel, lottery generator, etc.). The Service is intended for personal entertainment use.

Displayed results are produced by the browser's standard pseudo-random algorithms. They are not guaranteed to be cryptographically random nor suitable for professional use (official lottery, legally binding draw, contractual decision, etc.).

You agree to use the Service:

• In accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• For personal, non-commercial purposes
• Without disrupting the operation or security of the Service
• Without infringing on other users' rights

You specifically agree not to:

• Attempt to access non-public parts of the Service (database, server code, other users' accounts)
• Scrape or mass-extract content through automated means
• Use the Service to distribute illegal, hateful, defamatory, or offensive content
• Bypass technical protection measures (rate limit, captcha, authentication)
• Transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or fraud

Creating an account is optional. Sign-up happens via Google OAuth or by magic link sent to your email (no password to remember).

You are solely responsible for the security of your access (email inbox, Google account). You agree to provide accurate information (valid email address, display name that does not infringe third-party rights).

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these Terms, without notice and without refund (the Service being free of charge).

You may delete your account at any time from the profile page (GDPR feature). See the Privacy Policy for a full list of processed data.

All content of the Service (text, interfaces, graphics, logo, source code, domain name) is the exclusive property of Geospotter Studios or its partners, protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation, or exploitation of all or part of the Service, by any means, without prior written authorization, is prohibited and constitutes an infringement.

Third-party trademarks and logos (Google, Netlify, Supabase, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners.

When you submit content to the Service (bug report, game proposal, rating, display name), you warrant:

• That you hold the necessary rights over this content
• That this content does not infringe any third-party rights
• That this content complies with applicable laws

You grant Geospotter Studios a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use this content within the Service (moderation, anonymized statistics, integration of accepted ideas).

We reserve the right to refuse, edit, or remove any content we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant:

• Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability of the Service
• Accuracy or suitability of results for any specific purpose
• Absence of bugs, viruses, or other harmful components
• Compatibility with all browsers or devices

Important: draw results generated by the Service have no legal value and cannot be enforced against third parties. For a legally binding draw, use a bailiff or certified lottery service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Geospotter Studios shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from:

• Use of or inability to use the Service
• Results obtained through the Service
• An interruption, technical failure, or data loss
• Third-party actions (attack, hack, hosting provider outage)
• Decisions made based on results shown by the Service

The Service being free of charge, our liability is in any case limited to the legal minimum.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this page.

In case of substantial modification (especially regarding personal data or user obligations), we will inform you via a notification on the Service or, for authenticated users, by email.

These Terms are governed by Canadian law and more specifically by the laws of the Province of Quebec, without regard to conflicts of law.

For European Union residents, the mandatory rights provided by the national law of your country of habitual residence remain applicable.

In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavor to reach an amicable resolution before any legal action. Failing this, the courts of the judicial district of Quebec shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer provisions.
